This time I agreed to try another brand (with some hesitation at first). I thought that I'll just use a tiny teeny drop and when I experience any signs of itching, I'll just wash it away. So go on I went and tested it out.
Saforelle's scent is not too much. It has a clean and pleasant smell, more like of a faint smell of shampoo, and not too medicated when compared to Lactacyd. I poured a little amount of the liquid (not too thick) and lathered to bubbles on my palm before applying it and then washed away with water. I waited for a minute and I felt some kind of very light stinging on my intimate area but it wasn't irritating. Then after that, the sting went away. On the next try out, there was no stinging at all. I thought I just adjusted to the formula since it was new and my intimate part accepted it right away.

I checked on the bottle's ingredient and the different ingredient being promoted is Burdock. I went ahead and searched on what Burdock is and found from Wiki that it's actually from a plant which can be eaten and is traditionally used as herbal medicine to treat different diseases such as for scalp treatment. The product is originally from France and is being distributed by Because, Inc.
For the price, it costs just as much as the leading brands in the country. With its price and the kind of packaging it has, I don't think it won't be much of a competition against the leading brands. However, I am still happy that there's one brand who can be a good replacement to what I'm using.

Thanks for sharing, I'm always on the look out for alternative brands to try because I also have sensitive skin and often get allergies. :)
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing sis..:-D
ReplyDeleteI got this on my November BDJ Box. Most brands out in the market are harsh. I think this is a good alternative
ReplyDeleteI was introduced to saforelle when I visted the baby expo 2013. together with their other brands which is the cream factory. I am looking forward to try their products too.since they said that it is hypoallergenic.correct me if im wrong,,I forgot na eh,hihi
ReplyDeleteJo, I don't see any hypoallergenic mentioned on the packaging if I am not mistaken but judging from my experience, I believe it is :-)
Deletehow much it was and where did you find it? :D Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI so love sample room even though I don't have any experience from them! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing. Is it affordable? It's a good find for those ladies seeking other brands aside from the one in the market today.
ReplyDeleteIt's really nice to know that there's a great alternative to common products out there! Thanks for sharing! :)
ReplyDeleteWow! Another nice product to try at SR! :D Nice review! :D
ReplyDeletethis is really for us girls! i think i need to get myself a product too. they seem so nice naman.
ReplyDeleteI've only been using only Human Heart Nature's feminine wash. This looks like a great product to try too! Thanks for sharing :D
ReplyDeleteI've always used Lactacyd too. But I might give this one a try since I'm into organic/natural products lately.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many organic products in the market nowadays, which is good. I just hope these products are really organic.
ReplyDeleteI have always been a lactacyd user. But of course, it is good to know that there is another brand that I can trust when it comes to feminine hygiene.
ReplyDeleteThis is the first time I've heard of this brand. I always used to use Lactacyd too until I found Human Nature's line of feminine wash. This sounds like a good alternative though.
ReplyDeleteI'm scared of trying out new products too but I think this one's gentle enough since it didn't cause you any irritation at all. Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteLooks like a nice brand. I should also give that product a try.
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteAny idea if how much is it?
Thanks! :)
How much is one regular size bottle? I am a member of the Sample Room but it's sad that most if not all of the items there are always out of stock.
